TMN's Payment Service Adopted by SG Moving
Easily Settable Mobile Multi-Payment Terminals at Event Venues are now Active
Transaction Media Networks, Inc. (TMN) is pleased to announce that TMN's payment service and payment terminal "UT-P10" have been adopted for SG Moving Co., Ltd. (SG Moving)’s delivery service reception at event venues.
With TMN's payment service, it is possible to use e-cash to pay for the delivery fee to be processed at the event venues.
Background and Purpose
SG Moving provides luggage transportation service for organizers, exhibitors, and visitors of events held at exhibition halls and other venues. SG Moving needed to set up a delivery reception in a short period of time in a different environment for each event, and there was a need for a payment terminal that could be easily connected.
TMN's mobile payment terminal UT-P10 has been adopted by SG Moving to respond to this need, since it can support multiple electronic payments with a single device, is easy to link with SG Moving's own delivery application, and can be connected with a single USB cable.
The adoption of TMN's payment service and payment terminal UT-P10 has made SG Moving easier to set up at the delivery reception site, thereby reducing the risk of problems related to electronic payments at event venues. TMN believes that this adoption can contribute to improving SG Moving's service convenience.
What’s Next?
TMN will continue to contribute to the spread of electronic payments toward the government's goal of achieving an 80% electronic payment proportion in Japan and to create a better consumer environment by identifying and providing solutions to meet new needs in the cash payment domain where electronic payments have not yet progressed, as well as in conventional electronic payment environments.
